 Preethi pal wins bronze medal in T35 200m Paris Olympics

India’s Preethi pal won a bronze medal in the women’s 200m T35 category, which is her second medal in the Paris Paralympics, with a personal best time of 30.01 second.

T35 classification is meant for athletes who have coordination, impairments search as hypertonia, ataxia, and Athetosis. 

On Friday, August 30, 2024 she had clinched India’s first. Hey Siri track event, winning a bronze in the women’s Day, 35 100m competition with the person best time of 14.21 seconds.

Prethi pal created history as she become the first ever Indian woman, track and field athlete to win two medals at the Paralympics. She is an inspiration for the people of India and her dedication is truly remarkable said by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
