After heavy heat for few days rain returned again to relief which is much needed. The india metrological department has forecasted the heavy rain for upcoming days.

Weather news in Maharashtra 

The IMD has forecasted the heavy rainfall in mumbai, Thane, Palghar and other regions for few days the reason why orange alert was issued by IMD department.

The other places in Maharashtra like Harnai in Ratnagiri and Dahanu saw the 116 mm and 143 mm of rain. Respectively, in 24 hours leading up to 8:30 am on August 24. In the Konkan region IMD has issued orange alert for the Pune and Satara districts.

The orange alert signifies the heavy rainfall exceeding 64.5 mm within 24 hours which is lead to flooding in low-laying areas. A yellow alert which lead to light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph has also issued in some regions in Maharashtra. 

In Maharashtra on some of the places highly chances or heavy to heavy rain the reason why holidays are issued in most of the schools and colleges, companies and corporations etc and red alert is given. 

Weather news in Gujarat 

IMD has also issued red alert for Gujarat indicating the extremely heavy rainfall. The weather agency has also predicted heavy to heavy rainfall with isolated places likely to receive 20 cm of precipitation.

Weather news in MP, Chhattisgarh, Bengal, Odisha

As the weather forecast is expected to bring heavy rainfall to the central and eastern regions like Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha,  Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura has also on high alert due to heavy rain. 

Weather news in UP, rajasthan, Bihar, Telangana

IMD has also expected the heavy rainfall in in certain regions including Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, kerla, mahe, Telangana, coastal and northern Karnataka. The coastal area of bay Bengal and the Arabian Sea is going to experience the squally weather with the wind speed of up to 55 miles per hour. Therefore, IMD issued red alerts in this areas.
