UPSC cancels candidature of traine ? 

UPSC cancel candidature of trainee, IAS, Puja Khedkar said the union Public service commission on Wednesday cancelled The provisional temperature of Puja Khedkar, a professionally recommended candidate of civil services examination, 2022 and permanently the married or from all future exam and selections.

Earlier on July 18, a show cause notice was issued by the UPSC to Puja Khedkar for fraudulently availing items beyond the permissible limit provided for in an examination rules by faking her identity. She was to submit her response to the SCM by July 25. However, she requested for the time till August for so that she could gather the necessary documents for her response.

Puja khedkar granted time to July 30 to enable her to submit the response to the SCM. It was also categorically made clear to her that this was the final opportunity for her and no further extension in the time will be allowed. 

It was also conveyed to her in unequivocal terms that if no response was received by the aforesaid date and time for UPSC will take further action without entering any further reference from her. Despite an extension in time allowed to her, she failed to submit Hr exclamation within the prescribed time.

UPSC says it examined the available records carefully and found her guilty of acting in contra relation of the provision of the CSE 2022 rules. Her provisional candidature for the CSE 2022 has been cancelled and she has also been divided permanently from all future examinations of the UPSC. 

In the backdrop of this case, the UPSC has truly examined the available data of more than 15,000 finally recommended candidates of the CSE from the year 2009 to 2023 considering the number of attempts availed by them. The UPC said that bearing the case of Puja Khedkar, no other candidates has been found to have avail more than number of attempts done permitted under the CSE rules. 

The UPSC says that in the case of Puja Khedkar, the standard operating procedure of the UPSC could not be take her number of attention premier league because she changed not only her name but also had parent’s name.

The release said it was the last and final opportunity for her and no further extension in time will be allowed. The commission said that despite the extension, she failed to submit her explanation within the prescribed time

The commission said that UPSC is in the process of further stated in the SOP to ensure that such a case does not require in the future. Puja Khedkar what also allegedly arrested by the Delhi police crime branch on July 19 for miss using the disability and other backward class got to secure her candidature in the civil service exam.
